Even early in my career I was coaching candidates during their interviews, giving them feedback on their resume and their interview because of my strong belief that there is a "just right" job for everyone. To me it was quite simple, you have talents and abilities and there is a job that needs those talents and abilities. While in the recruiter's role I have the utmost confidence that if the position I am interviewing someone for is not the right match then it is because there is another position they were better suited for. This belief translates into a deposit of hope that the candidate takes with them. Candidates have repeatedly told me over the years that their interview experience with me was one of the best by far that they had ever had. As a resume and job coach I hold to that same belief that there is a "just right" job for everyone. The bottom line is this; I believe in you! Why am I so passionate about this? Because there is no other person that possesses your exact combination of skills, talents, education and experience which has prepared you for this season in your life. As you capture this on your resume you are empowered, not only because you understand what you have to offer, but now you have successfully conveyed it to others through a strong and persuasive resume. |

Professional Qualifcations
My experience includes reporting to Presidents in an HR role and being mentored by one who was a former Executive Recruiter. I have reported to Vice Presidents in a Staffing Manager and Sr. Recruiter role, hands-on managed and built a staffing team that hired 800 employees across a 17 month time frame during a rapid National deployment. Worked right alongside hiring managers at all levels of the organization for their recruitment needs. Served for 12 years as an Advisory Board Member for a non-profit agency providing consultation, resume, training and interview coaching for their clients.
I have been Coaching candidates throughout my Professional Career
- 20 years coaching candidates during Human Resource, Recruiting and Volunteer roles
- 20+ years providing mentoring and coaching within a local non-profit
- 12 years as a volunteer coach for Goodwill Industries as an Advisory Board member to their Supportive Employment Programs (serving the disadvantaged and disabled)
- 4 years providing coaching and leadership development both locally and nationally for CPLN (a non-profit organization)
- 15 years - Design and deliver community based employment related workshops, training and mentoring for candidates
- Daily coaching for my teenage son which is by far the most rewarding and challenging!
